Twice in just over a week, Canadian Tire in College Heights has been the victim of a break-in enter to their outdoor compound.
On Wednesday, July 17 Prince George RCMP received a report from Canadian Tire advising of the theft of four kayaks from their compound overnight which occurred at approximately 3:30 a.m.
Two Pelican "The Catch 130" fishing kayaks valued at approximately $2000 each and two Pelican "Summit 100" kayaks valued at approximately $500 each, were stolen.
Then on Wednesday, July 24 at about 3:15 a.m. the same compound was broken into. Two suspects gained entry and stole four kayaks, one Pelican "The Catch 120", two Pelican "Escape 120" and one Pelican "Maxim 100" kayaks were stolen.
Investigators believe that the same two persons are responsible for both these thefts.
