Cynthia Dykhuizen was not victorious but "experience" is now a prominent word in her vocabulary.
The 12-year-old from Barlow Creek elementary school represented northern B.C. at the CanWest Canspell national championship spelling bee held in Ottawa this weekend, getting bumped in the second round.
