Crown counsel has approved a charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking against Amanda Lee Girouard, 33, the woman who was arrested along with Ryan John Moore, 23, over the weekend.

During an October 2013 trial for a long list of firearms charges he was facing at the time, Girouard was described as Moore's girlfriend. Moore was eventually found not guilty of those charges.

The two were arrested Saturday when police pulled over a vehicle the two were in on Westwood Drive and allegedly found 14 grams of crack cocaine and about $6,000 in cash.

At the time of the arrests Moore was out on bail while facing charges as a result of the seizure of a cache of guns in May.

He is the son of William (Billy) Moore, the president of the Prince George Renegades Motorcycle Club who was shot to death in 2005 in an apparent gang-related execution. No one has been arrested for the murder.

Moore, who remained in custody as of Wednesday, now faces two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking while Girouard faces one count and is scheduled to make a first appearance on April 29.
