Drivers survive head-on collision near Vanderhoof

The drivers of a sport utility vehicle and a pickup truck suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries from a head-on collision Thursday night on Highway 16 near Noonla Road east of Vanderhoof.

The drivers of a sport utility vehicle and a pickup truck suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries from a head-on collision Thursday night on Highway 16 near Noonla Road east of Vanderhoof.

"Human error is believed to be what caused one of the vehicles to cross over the center line but speed and alcohol is not being considered as a factor," RCMP said.

RCMP were called to the scene at about 8:30 p.m.
