One person was killed Monday evening in a collision between a car and a tractor trailer at the corner of Northwood Pulpmill Road and Noranda Road, Prince George RCMP said.
Called at 7:40 p.m. to a report of a possibly impaired driver, police said the driver of the car was found dead after the vehicle had burst into flames. The driver of the tractor-trailer escaped injury.
Initial reports were that a car collided with a tractor-trailer and was on fire. The driver of the tractor-trailer escaped injury.
Police said witness account and evidence from the scene indicate the driver of the car was at fault. The victim's identity will not be released.
