A 33-year-old woman died at the scene of a single-vehicle rollover Thursday morning on Highway 97 just north of Bear Lake.
RCMP, who were called to the site at 8 a.m., said a witness told police her late-model pickup truck rolled several times down an embankment leaving the woman, who was the driver and sole occupant, trapped inside.
Her name was not released.
Speed was believed to have been a contributing factor, RCMP said.
