One person is dead after two vehicles collided on a forest service road near Mackenzie around lunchtime Monday.
The Mackenzie RCMP detachment received a call about the collision around 1 p.m., advising that a logging truck and a pickup truck struck each other at the 93 kilometre marker of the Finlay Forest Service Road. A driver of one of the trucks reportedly died at the scene.
Police said road conditions were poor at the time of the collision. The road was closed as crews investigated the scene.
