A surveillance camera caught a female suspect breaking into a College Heights A&W Restaurant after hours. Police are hoping the public will recognize who she is in the images released on Friday.

The incident occurred at about 1 a.m. on Jan. 4 at a restaurant in the 5900 block of Southridge Avenue in the College Heights area of town.

"Through video surveillance, it was determined that a youth female broke the window to the drive-thru portion of the restaurant, by throwing rocks," said Prince George RCMP spokesman Cpl. Craig Douglass. "The suspect then cleared the window of glass, donned a mask and entered the business."

The suspect wore gloves to sweep the broken glass away.

Once inside the building, the suspect did little else of consequence. "Nothing significant was taken from the business," Douglass said.

Police would like to pinpoint the identity of this suspect due to the break-and-enter crime and the smashing of the window.
