Street line painting has begun in our city. The public is asked to respect the crews as they undertake the work, and to respect the traffic markers directing motorists around the areas in progress.
"Street lines are necessary to maintain clear and visible lines to aid in traffic and pedestrian safety," said Mick Jones, technical services supervisor for the City of Prince George. "The contractors will have this work completed in approximately three weeks. To ensure the safety for the contractors and equipment working on our streets, motorists are advised to use caution when approaching close proximity of these crews."
