Dr. Charles Jago has been reappointed for a second three-year term as board chairperson of Northern Health.
"I am delighted to continue my service as board chair," said Jago. "It is an honour to work with a strong and committed board, an excellent management team, and all those who provide excellent healthcare to the citizens of Northern BC."
Two current board members' terms renewed are Dale Bumstead of Dawson Creek, and Cameron McIntyre of Prince Rupert, who will serve their second three-year terms through to December, 2013.
The welcomed new member, Sharon Hartwell of Telkwa , who is appointed to a one-year term (to June 2011) with the potential for a further two-year expansion. She replaces outgoing director Judy Wass of Hazelton.
