The Prince George Canadian Mental Health Association asks residents of Prince George to donate items to those in need.

Mental illness affects one in four individuals in their lifetime and for a small percentage of people, mental illness is life long.

New unwrapped gifts can be dropped off at Gift of Hope boxes in various locations, including The Bay, Superstore, Hart Drugs, Books & Co., Save on Foods in Parkwood, Reid's Pharmacy, CNC Atrium, Shoppers Drug Marts, Liquidation World, Northern Hardware, Art of Tanning, Evergreen Pharmacy, and Second Cup.

People wishing to make a more significant donation can fund a table for the dinner and dance by donating $140.
