Direct flights to Arizona coming this December

Flair Airlines launching Prince George to Tucson service on Dec. 2

Flair Airlines announced it will fly direct between Prince George and Tucson, Arizona from December to March.

Flair Airlines will be launching direct service between Prince George and Tucson, Arizona starting on Dec. 2.

The route will run from December to March, flying once a week between Prince George and the popular snowbird destination. Flair Airlines announced the move on Tuesday.

"We are very excited to see this air service option for both Canadian and American travelers" Prince George Airport Authority president and CEO Gordon Duke said in a statement issued on Tuesday. "Tucson offers a warm getaway for Canadians during the winter and also provides an opportunity for Americans to experience ‘bucket list’ winter activities here in and around Prince George. We are looking forward to continuing to develop our relationship with Flair and connecting the world to our region."

According to information on the Flair Airlines website, flights will depart Tucson at 7:40 a.m. each Friday and arrive in Prince George by 10:45 a.m.

The flight leaves Prince George at 11:45 a.m. and arrives in Tuscon at 4:50 p.m.

The direct flight is expected to last four hours and five minutes each way.
