Drug charges are pending after police busted a local crack shack Thursday night.
One man and one woman were arrested June 6 after the Prince George RCMP Crime Reduction Team executed a drug warrant on a suspected crack house in the 1400 block of Diefenbaker Drive at 10 p.m.
After getting around a barricaded door at 10 p.m., a search of the home resulted in the seizure of crack cocaine, cash and a variety of drug trafficking paraphernalia.
According to the Crime Reduction Team's Cpl. Kent MacNeill, the police would like to thank the public for their help in the investigation, which is ongoing.
"These search warrants were supported by information provided to the police by concerned citizens who are also committed to ridding their community of this problem," MacNeill said. "It is through these types of collaborative partnerships that criminal drug activity is effectively reduced."
