The RCMP Downtown Enforcement Unit struck crack when they stopped a suspicious vehicle in the VLA subdivision and seized crack cocaine from the 30-year-old driver.
Police believe this male was involved in a drug delivery business also known as a "dial-a-dope" operation, in which customers contact the dealer by telephone and the drugs are delivered to them.
This 30-year-old was arrested and convicted under similar circumstances back in 2007 and is now facing new charges for trafficking in a controlled substance.
Police ask the general public to be aware of this new trend in drug trafficking and report suspicious activities to either the Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300 or CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS
