The Quesnel RCMP is asking residents to keep any eye out for people selling brand-new, brand-name clothing at fire sale prices.
On Saturday morning, two men entered Quesnel clothing store BB-Rox and pretended to shop, gathering items they were interested in.
According to RCMP, the men grabbed handfuls of merchandise off a coat rack then quickly ran out of the store.
The estimated value of the stolen goods is believed to be more than $3,000 and includes brands such as Affliction, Rush, Bad Boy and Sullen Grenade.
The police are asking the public to be mindful of individuals selling new brand name clothing out of their vehicle or online for a great discount.
Anyone with information about this incident or the identity of the males involved is asked to contact Const. Hoover with the Quesnel RCMP at 250-992-9211.
