The local branch of the Alzheimer Society of B.C. is offering a free workshop Monday, Dec. 16 for those wishing to become dementia advocates who look to make long-lasting social changes for people affected and their family members.

The local branch of the Alzheimer Society of B.C. is offering a free workshop Monday, Dec. 16 for those wishing to become dementia advocates who look to make long-lasting social changes for people affected and their family members.

The free workshop includes a tutorial on how to write an effective letter to your MLA. No experience is necessary.

The workshop goes Monday from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the Alzheimer Society of B.C. Resource Centre, 202 -575 Quebec Street. Call to register at 250-564-7533 or e-mail [email protected].
