Arbitrator Vince Ready has announced his decision in a contract impasse between UNBC management and the UNBC Faculty Association.
According to a UNBC statement, the decision awards a general wage increase of 2.5 per cent for each of 2012 and 2013. It covers a retroactive period from July 2012 to June 2014.
Other non-monetary proposals have been left for future collective bargaining.
