A fatal shooting this past fall remains on the Dawson Creek RCMP radar.
At about 6 p.m. on Oct. 6, 2022, police were called to a report of a motor vehicle crash on on Highway 97 near Arras Road just west of the community of about 13,000 people in the B.C. Peace.
But upon arrival, they found a victim of what was later determined to be a shooting. The victim's name has not been provided.
For a second time, the detachment has released a photo of a utility terrain vehicle linked to the incident and are asking for the public's help in tracking down the owner.
Anyone who may recognized the vehicle is asked to contact the detachment at 250-784-3700.
