Cullen remains emotional over Layton's death

More than a day after Jack Layton's death, northern B.C. NDP MP Nathan Cullen's voice trembled Tuesday afternoon as he recalled the federal New Democratic Party leader's last days, his contributions to Canada's political landscape and their friendship.

"I'm still kind of stunned and I get real depressed when I think Jack's not going to be there," Cullen said in a telephone interview. "It feels like a clich but I can't believe that a guy that strong and passionate just won't be there."
