The B.C. Coroners Service identified Duane Francis Pearson of 100 Mile House as the victim in a fatal highway collision near Fraser Lake on Jan. 17.
Pearson, 46, was behind the wheel of an SUV when it collided with a pickup truck on Highway 16 about 10 kilometres east of Fraser Lake at about 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 17. He was declared dead at the scene of the crash.
The coroner and the RCMP are continuing to investigate the incident.
