When Prince George RCMP began a search on suspected crack shack Dec. 7 they found both doors to the house heavily barricaded.

However, police did gain entry to the house in the 1400 block of Milburn Avenue where they arrested an adult man and one young male offender.

The adult male is a known member of the Game Tight Soldiers (GTS) and the young offender is a well known associate of the GTS.

Police seized crack cocaine, cash, various edged weapons and assorted drug trafficking paraphernalia from the residence. The investigation is still ongoing.

RCMP are seeking the help of landlords and property representatives around the city in combatting crack shacks. Landlords and property representatives need to ensure they are completing tenancy agreements, are asking for valid forms of identification from renters, follow-up with the tenants references, and conduct inquiries at their properties after renting them to ensure nothing suspicious is occurring at the property.

Anyone with information about illicit drug activity is asked to contact the Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300 or anonymously call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
