Two local Canada Revenue Agency employees were awarded Queen's Diamond Jubilee medals on Friday.
Bonnie Hickey was recognized for her commitment to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, and the Canadian Cancer Society, through the Relay for Life, the Dragon Boat Team and for all of the time and effort devoted to the CRA Roadrunners.
She has been a key reason that more than $86,000 has been raised by local CRA employees in the last 10 years. Her personal total is in excess of 23,000.
Robert Bodner was recognized for his volunteer work with youth in Prince George over the last 20 years.
His coaching, officiating and supervising experiences adds up to 15 years of Little League, 10 years of football and basketball and seven years of Boy Scouts and in addition to numerous other contributions to major events in Prince George.
Both work at the CRA's Northern B.C. and Yukon tax services office.
