Northern Health is warning residents who attended social gatherings in the Prespatou region this month that they may have been exposed to COVID-19.
Everyone who attended events, services or social gatherings in Prespatou, located 87 km north of Fort St. John, is asked to self monitor for symptoms of COVID-19 and get tested if they show signs of the disease.
"Public health contact tracing is under way, and where possible, (Northern Health) is reaching out directly to individuals who may have been exposed," a statement issued by Northern Health said.
However, public health officials have not been able to identify and contact all the people who attended events there.
