Coun. Brian Skakun will start looking to other sources to raise money for his legal battle after city council opted this week against considering a request to have the local taxpayer cover his bills.
Skakun said Wednesday a notice of motion he provided on the matter during an in camera council meeting Monday was effectively turned down without any discussion.
