Michelle Susanne Auger of Prince George, 39, was the driver who died when her SUV collided with a BC Transit bus on Highway 97 about 500 metres north of the John Hart Bridge just before 3 p.m. Wednesday.
Ambulance took Auger to the University Hospital of Northern B.C. but she could not be resuscitated.
Roads were very icy at the time of the crash.
The B.C. Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Service continue to investigate.
