The woman who died Wednesday after her sport utility vehicle collided with a city bus was Michelle Susanne Auger, 39, of Prince George, the B.C. Coroners Service said Friday.
The collision occurred on Highway 97 just north of the John Hart Bridge at 3 p.m.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation but road conditions "were noted to be very icy at the time of the crash," the coroner said.
Auger was transported to the University Hospital of Northern B.C. but could not be resuscitated.
