July 8 will be a full day for city council.
On Friday afternoon, the city posted notice of a special council meeting scheduled in addition to the regular evening meeting on Monday night.
The special meeting is slated to take place at 8:30 Monday morning in council chambers to "conduct regular business, as well as to consider core services review recommendations from administration."
Under the city's council procedures bylaw, notice of special meetings only has to be given 24 hours in advance.
Agendas for Monday meetings are released on the city website by the end of business Wednesdays.
