Organizers of the DigiTalks North conference are looking for local technology companies to make presentations about the intersection of technological advancements and business.

The event, to be held on Feb. 1 at CNC, aims to connect technology companies with other businesses in the community that might be interested in learning more about how they can use digital products to improve the way they function.

Presentation topics could range from data tools to mobile presence to digital marketing. Talks can last anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour.

"This event has been designed to showcase technologies that can help businesses improve their productivity or profitability," CNC industry liaison Zelda Craig said. "We want to develop a program of presentations that will appeal to a business owner and have owners immediately recognize the value of attending the event."

In addition to the presentations, there will also be a trade show at the event.

Anyone wishing to make a presentation must submit their idea by Dec. 16. More information is available at www.digitalksnorth.ca.
