Students interested in continuing their education after high school, and their parents, will have a chance to gauge what's on offer at 14 B.C. colleges and universities tonight.

The information event will be held in the Bentley Centre at the University of Northern British Columbia, starting at 7 p.m.

Representatives from British Columbia Institute of Technology, Canadian Forces Royal Military College, College of New Caledonia, Justice Institute of B.C., Northern Lights College, Nicola Valley Institute of Technology, Okanagan College, Simon Fraser University, Thompson Rivers University, Trinity Western University, University of British Columbia, University of Northern British Columbia, University of Victoria and Vancouver Island University will be on hand.

"While post-secondary reps have visited high schools in Prince George and around the province for many years, the school-hour schedule has traditionally made it difficult for parents to participate in the conversation," the event organizers said in a press release.
