CNC to add to contingency fund

College of New Caledonia finished the 2009-10 fiscal year with a more-than $900,000 surplus, according to audited financial statements presented to the school's board of governor Wednesday.

according to audited financial statements presented to the school's board of governor Wednesday.

The money - $933,718 to be exact - will be held in a contingency fund for "future operational needs at the college or special projects," CNC vice president of finance Penny Fahlman said in a statement.
