College of New Caledonia is seeking families to host a dozen South Korean exchange students for three weeks starting next month.

The students, age 20 to 25, are studying dentistry and nursing and health sciences from Deagu Health College in South Korea and would stay for three weeks, starting in mid-July, while doing practicums in local hospitals and clinics. The exchange program is in its sixth year.

"We encourage applications from families that want to experience a new culture through interacting with their student," said CNC homestay co-ordinator Sabreena MacElheron. "Those interactions involve family barbecues, trips to parks, lakes or local areas of interest."

The application form is available on the internet at http://bit.ly/l3UKfh. Applicants must also must fill out an RCMP criminal record check form.
