City officials swear there are no plans for the land they just bought - the Prince George Hotel and adjacent parking lot - but mists of evidence are accumulating that there is a definite plan underneath the transaction and always has been.
All parties involved agree that the deal is a good one for the city, both those involved in the financing and those in the adjacent area who are not party to the transactions. Mayor Dan Rogers, backed by all available councillors, held a news conference on Wednesday to discuss the deal.
