Prince George is a finalists in this season's WinterLights competition.
The city is one of two in the running for the top award in the festive season celebrations category -- for indoor and outdoor festive, heritage or family events held during the holiday season -- and could also come away with the overall national WinterLights award.
Other contenders are Kamloops, Halifax, Brampton, Kingston and Barrie.
The results will be announced March 6 during the WinterLights symposium in Charlottetown.
