Citizens On Patrol busy with Speed Watch

Citizens On Patrol volunteers have been taking to the streets on the Speed Watch program.

Citizens On Patrol volunteers have been taking to the streets on the Speed Watch program.

Equipped with radar and a display board showing drivers how fast they are travelling, eight volunteers checked a combined total of 4,798 vehicles in June and found 243 of them

going 20 km/h over the post speed limit.

And already in July COP volunteers have checked over 500 vehicles and will continue to be out and about providing educational enforcement in attempts to slow drivers in the Prince George area, coordinator Mike Burt said.
