The Prince George Citizen is launching a new weekly publication focused on local arts and entertainment for subscribers and non-subscribers.
Starting next week, non-subscribers will no longer receive the Thursday edition of the regular paper.
Instead non-subscribers will receive a new product, called Citizen Extra, every Thursday beginning March 10. Citizen subscribers will receive Citizen Extra bundled with their regular paper.
"Citizen Extra will be distributed to everyone just as the Thursday paper was," Citizen publisher Colleen Sparrow said.
"Citizen Extra will feature unique content including lifestyles, arts and entertainment and motoring and, of course, all the great savings contained in the flyers from our local stores."
Citizen subscribers will continue to receive The Citizen daily from Tuesday to Saturday, including local news, sports and reader favourites like the crosswords, comics and horoscopes.
