Three men are dead after a helicopter crash near the Nelson Glacier on Sunday.
At approximately 4 p.m. Vancouver Island Helicopters contacted Stewart RCMP to report one of their helicopters had crashed.
The company airlifted RCMP members to the crash site, where they found the pilot and two passengers had died in the crash. The passengers had been conducting geological work in the area at the time of the crash.
RCMP, Transport Canada and the B.C. Coroners Service are cooperating to investigate the cause of the crash.
No further information was available from police as of press time.
