This week the 5-Day Club children's program ran at the All Nations Church located at 1919-17th Avenue.
"This is the second year we've done the 5-Day Club," said Pastor Larry Pinchbeck of the All Nations Church.
The program is presented through an international organization, Child Evangelism Fellowship, and is held for one-hour each day for five days focusing on honesty, loyalty, service, respect and offers a biblical perspective through singing, games and bible stories, said Pinchbeck.
There's as many as 20 children in attendance each day.
Nechako Optometry has offered their services for free to the children in the program and have also donated some backpacks of school supplies.
Shannon Ofner of Peppertree Hair Studio is offering participants free hair cuts in preparation of the beginning of the school year.
"The program has gone very well and teaches the children a lot of things including to take care of things in their neighbourhoods and schools," said Pinchbeck.
