Highway 97 near Bellos Road, south of P.G., is closed as a tanker trunk possibly carrying a poisonous and explosive chemical has over turned.
A local RCMP member found the truck at about 1:30 p.m.
Emergency services and personnel from the Ministry of Environment and Ministry of Highways are now on scene.
The driver of the truck has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
