Fundraising fashions will be paraded on Sunday. The models will be showing off the clothing of local retailers and all the money raised going to the people in greatest need of food and clothing, the users of the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

This high tea and fashion show happens from 12-3:30 p.m. at the Columbus Community Centre (7201 Domano Blvd.) All proceeds from the event go towards the construction of a new St. Vincent de Paul thrift store facility. That store in its existent form has gotten too large for its current location. It provides thrift-sized prices for customers, it provides free clothing and housewares to those in deep need, and the revenues go towards the food bank and many other services the agency provides.

According to organizers, the fashions will include apparel from The Loft at Art Knapp's, the Niche Clothing & Trading Company, and from the St. Vincent's Thrift Store itself.

There will be a silent auction, door prizes, a dessert auction, appetizer refreshments and other additional features.

Tickets are $30 available at the door while supplies last or in advance at St. Vincent's Thrift Store, Art Knapp's on Highway 16 West and at Ave Maria.
