Crown counsel has approved charges against three people stemming from the alleged break and enter at a local business and a ramming of a police vehicle early Saturday morning.
Adam Kelly McGowan, 37, of Fort St. James faces one count each of assault, assault with a weapon, break and enter with intent to commit and offence, flight from a peace officer, dangerous driving and driving while disqualified under the Criminal Code.
Maddison Irene Joyce Calder, 19, was charged with dangerous driving under the Criminal Code and break and enter with intent to commit a crime. Calder recently relocated to Prince George from Kamloops.
Devin Andrew Jacobs, 31, from Fort St. James was charged with break and enter with intent to commit a crime.
In all four people were arrested. A 30-year-old Fort St. James woman was released on a promise to appear in court in September.
McGowan and Jacobs are on the Prince George RCMP's prolific offender list. All three remain in custody.
