If you're looking for instant financial success, Michael Campbell, best selling author and host of Money talks for BCTV and Global TV, has the answers you need.

Campbell will talk about Surviving and Thriving in the Age of Change at Vanier Hall on Saturday, Feb. 8 at 2 p.m.

The financial guru will offer financial tips to help you achieve instant financial benefit, emphasizing personal investments being critical to success.

He will touch on how the world is changing dramatically and in order to see financial success, you have to change with it.

He will also talk about growing your own financial well being, since we can't depend on the government to support us in retirement.

"My goal for when I speak is for it to be entertaining, it's got to be compelling information and that's why I talk about change because a lot of people don't have time to put it all together," said Campbell. "I talk a lot about the changes that are happening and I can talk about what it means to individuals and their finances."

The declining value of the Canadian dollar as compared to the U.S. dollar is of concern, Campbell said.

"It's all direct impact stuff," he added. "Everywhere they look, it will have an impact on people's finances."

CIBC Wood Gundy is sponsoring the event in partnership with the Prince George Citizen.

"CIBC Wood Gundy offers educated guidance to investors of all levels," said Reg Smith, branch manager. "A very important part of developing a plan for our clients is accessing quality information. This event allowed us the opportunity to bring valuable financial insights to Prince George from which everyone can benefit."

Tickets are at the Citizen office, 150 Brunswick St. for $25 each.
