The Prince George Cougars picked up a pair of 2021 draft picks in a trade with the Seattle Thunderbirds on Wednesday.
The Cats took an eighth-round bantam draft selection and a conditional fourth-round selection in exchange for the WHL playing rights for unsigned forward prospect Stanley Cooley.
The Cougars drafted Cooley, 18, in the third round of the 2017 draft. The five-foot-11, 190-pound centre played 62 games for the Spruce Grove Saints in the Alberta Junior Hockey League in 2019-20, notching a total of 16 goals and 31 assists through the regular season and six playoff games.
He's currently slated to play for the Northeastern University Huskies during their 2020-21 NCAA season.
