Ness Lake Bible Camp is cracking open their annual Cans For Kids.

This yearly fundraiser invites the public to drop off their recyclable bottles and cans at the Nechako Bottle Depot to help some special youngsters.

"The money we raise goes to support families who can't otherwise afford to send their kids to camp," said NLBC's camp director Elliott Harder.

"Last year, more than 80 families were able to access these funds to provide the recreation and personal development we can offer. Some of them got full bursaries and some just needed a bit of financial help, and that way those kids weren't left out."

Cans For Kids takes place Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Nechako Bottle Depot will have a dedicated drop-off area so there are no lineups when delivering your empties.

Nechako Bottle Depot is also matching all funds raised from the drop-off bottle drive.
