The Government of Canada is asking for applications for various administrative positions, however, they are using a decidedly magical recruitment style.

The job posting from the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat is for "Various Administrative Wizardry Positions."

"Are you a Gryffindor (brave, loyal, courageous and adventurous), a Ravenclaw (wise, creative, clever and knowledgeable) a Hufflepuff (hard working, dedicated, fair, patient) or a Slytherin (resourceful, ambitious, determined and crave leadership)?" asks the posting.

They follow by noting that no matter what "house" you belong to, a "sorting hat" will find the perfect place for you. Further, they note that the positions will help develop and further your "magical career with in the Public Service."

The posting asks for permanent, acting and temporary roles ranging from $57,430 to $61,877.

Canadians residing in Canada, as well as Canadians working abroad, may apply.

Applications will close on Aug. 30, 2019, at at 11:59 p.m. With that being said, the posting notes that they will conduct the first random selection of applicants on April 8, 2019. Therefore, if you would like to increase your chance of being considered in this first group, you should submit your application by April 7, 2019.
