There's a call for nominations for local businesses that are looking to be invaded by a cash mob.
The Prince George Chamber of Commerce and Hell Yeah Prince George are looking to Facebook to ask for the public's input for suggestions on which three businesses could use a little consumer support.
The deadline to nominate is Monday.
The Cash Mobs are set to take place sometime before the end of May.
Those interested in making a nomination can choose from local Chamber members and be sure to include a comment on why they deserve the recognition.
Once the nomination process is closed the Chamber's Service Delivery Committee, with help from Hell Yeah Prince George administrators, will pick three businesses to be Cash Mob recipients.
The Cash Mob idea comes from the U.S. and has spread throughout the world.
Supporters of a Cash Mob attend the business on a specified date and are asked to spend a minimum of $20 during a selected time period. The business gets a boost not only to their business monetarily, but to their standing in the community, and the show of support demonstrates how the community is willing to come together to help support one another.
