Two women were arrested and $75,000 worth of illicit drugs were seized when the Prince George RCMP's crime reduction team executed a search warrant Dec. 28 on a 2700-block Hart Highway home, police said Thursday.
The drugs consisted of significant quantities of methamphetamine, cocaine and heroin, RCMP said. An assortment of drug trafficking paraphernalia was also seized.
Two children under the age of 10 years old were also located. The two arrested, whose names were not provided, were released on a promise to appear in court on March 25.
Investigators will be recommending drug-related charges against the two women, 42 and 28 years old respectively, and possibly a 47-year-old man also believed to be involved.
