No one was injured Wednesday afternoon when a school bus carrying four children was rear-ended by another vehicle on Highway 16 near Geddes Road.
According to the Prince George RCMP, shortly before 3 p.m. the school bus driver activated the flashing lights and began to slow down. The driver of a Dodge Neon traveling in the same direction was unable to stop and slid into the back of the bus at a relatively slow speed. It appears the school bus driver anticipated the collision and warned the children before impact. The investigation is continuing.
