A foundation permit worth $1.5 million for the Victoria Street space that used to house Shagg was issued in June.

The Wholesale Sports permit was one of 64 issued last month, worth a total of $6.3 million. In 2012, the same month generated permits worth $21.8 million, boosted by the $13 million for the Kin Centre enhancement project.

Other significant building permits issued in June were $590,000 for the second phase of renovations at the Citygate McDonald's and tenant improvements worth $275,000 at Reitman's.

Building permits for nine new single family dwellings worth $2.5 million were also issued last month.

A development permit was issued to Montague Holdings for the creation of a 1,231 square metre industrial building, office and truck bays at 2100 Ogilvie St.
