The national Jagermeister Music Tour is kick starting in Prince George March 1, 2011, starring Buckcherry, Papa Roach, My Darkest Days and Bleeker Ridge.
Buckcherry is touring on their fifth album, All Night Long, which has been called the band's most eclectic and impressive effort yet - a thoroughly rocking song cycle in the grand tradition of classic albums by the group's forefathers and now friends Aerosmith, AC/DC and Kiss.
"Every night we're on stage we love to host a party. We can't think of a better partner to do it with than Jagermeister," said Buckcherry front man Josh Todd.
"This is the first time we're really going to be able to celebrate the theme of our album, All Night Long, on the road. It's going to be loud and sweaty, just the way we like it," guitarist Keith Nelson added.
Papa Roach has also recently released a new album, Time for Annihilation went out August 31 of this year. The band has sold more than 10 million album copies worldwide, with hits such as Last Resort, Scars, Forever and Lifeline, among others.
My Darkest Days is best known for their single entitled Porn Star Dancing, a video that took them to the top 100 most-downloaded videos worldwide on iTunes. It was the fourth most downloaded rock song in Canada.
Two sets of brothers have joined together in a melodic Canadian hard rock quartet, with lead singer Tayler Perkins, 21, guitarist Cole Perkins, 19, guitarist Dan Steinke, 19, and drummer Dustin Steinke, 20.
The group met in 2003 at a local jam night in tiny Lagoon City.
The four bands are the features of the 2011 Jagermeister Music Tour, which also includes JagerWorld, which allows patrons to try newest signature guitars from Schecter, enter contests, get autographs, chill out and get lots of free Jager gear.
The tickets go on sale Dec. 10, and the first 400 customers can buy three tickets and get the fourth for free, but the offer ends Dec. 14.
