Prince George RCMP are looking into a violent car jacking which occurred Wednesday night at Columbus Community Centre on Domano Boulevard.
Two masked males in dark clothing boldly approached a newer Honda Civic in the parking lot.
The suspects produced what was believed to be two hand guns, ordered three male occupants out of the vehicle and onto the ground, where all their valuables were removed. The suspects then stole the Honda Civic and drove away.
The Honda was located a short distance away, abandoned on Piedmont Crescent, where it is believed the suspects entered another vehicle and left the area.
"RCMP are continuing to investigate this incident and are looking at a number of factors that may suggest the suspects knew the victims or had other motives for taking the vehicle. The three victims were not injured during the incident and are cooperating with police." said Const. Lesley Smith, Prince George media liaison.
Police are asking for any witnesses with information to call police at 250-561-3300 or call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
